The concert of Israel Mbonyi in Belgium has been postponed due to low ticket sales, moving it from a large venue to a smaller one. Originally scheduled for July 8, 2024, the event was supposed to take place at Birmingham Palace, where Mbonyi performed last year.

The decision to change venues was prompted by the continued sluggish sales of tickets. Justin Karekezi, the head of Team Production organizing major concerts in Belgium, explained that they opted to downsize to a smaller venue due to the slow ticket sales. He noted that despite efforts, VIP tickets, which were initially priced higher, remained largely unsold, while regular tickets were selling at a slower rate.

The concert was initially planned to be held at a venue known as Docks or Dome Events Hall in the city of Brussels. However, due to the ongoing challenges with ticket sales, they made the decision to move to a smaller venue.

This setback comes after Mbonyi's successful concert in 2023, where he managed to attract a large audience, with VIP tickets selling out and regular tickets also in high demand.

The True Light of Christ (TLC) ministry, part of the Remera Miracle Center church, is organizing an evening coinciding with the time Rwandans commemorate the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. This commemorative event, marking the 30th anniversary of the Genocide, will take place on Sunday, May 14, 2024, starting at seven in the evening at Remera Miracle Center, where attendees are encouraged to dress in either black or grey attire.

This evening is part of an annual event, now renamed L.E.S.H (Let Every Soul Heal), which translates to "Let every heart heal," incorporating prayers, songs, testimonies, and performances, all aimed at providing solace and finding meaning in God's word.

However, L.E.S.H is not just an evening event on May 14, 2024. Prior to that, on May 13, 2024, there will be a visit to the Ntarama Genocide Memorial in Bugesera, followed by activities to remember and honor the families affected by the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

Speaking to media , a TLC representative expressed the organization's desire to reach out to as many Rwandans as possible, regardless of age, ethnicity, or background. They emphasized the importance of imparting messages of hope and healing, urging people to attend and expecting a profound impact on attendees. This ministry has organized such events in the past to commemorate the Genocide, but now, under the new name L.E.S.H, it continues its mission within the framework of the Remera Miracle Center led by Bishop Samedi Theobald, who oversees its spiritual work.
