Who are the judges in Rwanda Gospel Stars Live?

As we are coming across the final of the first edition of Rwanda Gospel Stars Live, the organizers announced five judges of the event and the criteria they will base on to define the winners.

The event organizers held a meeting on February 19, 2022, with gospel singers. It was all about giving them details about how far the competition is and alerting them about the day of giving awards to the deserving winners.

The media learned that the artists got full information and they are aware that the winner will get a grand prize of Rwf 7,000,000 and the first-runner-up will get Rwf 2,000,000 while the second runner-up will receive Rwf 1,000,000.

“The competition is happening for the very first time, and we found it crucial to have some judges who will be helping in deciding the winners based on the available criteria,” said Aimable Ndizera from Rwanda Gospel Stars Live.

The jury has five people in it who are Aime Uwimana, Simon Kabera, Pamella Mudakikwa, Gideon Mupende Ndayishimiye, and Josue Shimwa.

Every artist is urged to write a profile and submit it. That will be checked by the jury prior to the event. Aime Uwimana advised his fellow artists “Rwanda Gospel Stars Live is not really a competition as mentioned. It is a way of supporting gospel artists and enables the gathering, hence delivering some special messages.”

Some of the activities that have been prepared in relation to this event include a trip that was organized with an aim to promote local tourism and the contestants will visit Nyungwe National Park via Canopy Walk on February 26, 2022, and whoever wants to go with the artists/worshipers will pay Rwf 45,000 that covers transportation, lunch, Covid test, and others as mentioned on the flyer.

As per the public opening ceremony of Rwanda Gospel Stars Live, some of the worshipers in this are Serge Iyamuremye, Israel Mbonyi, Aline Gahongayire, Uwitonze Clementine (Tonzi), Gaby Kamanzi, Rata Jah Naychah, James & Daniella, Gisubizo Ministries, MD the Rapper, Gisele Precious, True Promises Ministries, Aimee Frank Nitezeho, Annette Murava, and Theo Bosebabireba.

Not only will the gospel singers receive awards, but also some pastors and bishops. The top three in the country who have played a huge role in the healing process and supported the worshipers in any way to get to their full potential. All the winners will be announced in the final event that will be blessed by Rose Muhando’s performance.
